This Cookie Policy explains how B&P Co Ltd. (trading as Tropical Pilates, UIC 208260678) uses cookies and similar technologies on the website tropicalpilates.bg (the "Website").
This policy supplements our Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, phone) when you visit it. They allow the website to recognise your device and store certain information about your visit or preferences.
We use cookies and, where applicable, similar technologies such as local storage (data stored by your browser on your device).
Cookies can be:
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — stored on your device for a specific period, or until you delete them.
- First-party cookies — set by the website you are visiting (us).
- Third-party cookies — set by a different domain than the one you are visiting (e.g. a payment provider or embedded service).
2. The cookies we use
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. As of the date above, we use only strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels.
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Website to function properly and to provide the Services you have requested. They do not require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive and the Bulgarian Electronic Communications Act, because they are strictly necessary for the service you have explicitly requested.
| Cookie / technology | Purpose | Provider | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token | Keeps you logged in to your Tropical Pilates account after you authenticate | Supabase (first-party) | Persistent | Up to 1 year, or until you sign out |
| Session identifiers (as set by the browser) | Technical session state during navigation | First-party | Session | End of browser session |
cookie_consent | Records your choice in the cookie consent banner | First-party | Persistent | 12 months |
2.2 Payment-flow cookies (third-party, set by Stripe during checkout only)
When you use our checkout flow to pay for a Booking or Credit Pack, you are temporarily redirected to or interact with Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe sets a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for payment security and fraud prevention. Stripe's use of these cookies is described in Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.
Stripe cookies are set only during the checkout flow; they are not set when you merely browse the Website.
2.3 Cookies we do not use
We do not use the following categories of cookies or tracking technologies:
- Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Advertising or marketing cookies (such as Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, etc.)
- Behavioural tracking or profiling technologies
- Session replay tools (such as Hotjar or FullStory)
If this changes in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and — where required by law — ask for your consent through the cookie consent banner before activating any non-essential cookies.
3. Third-party content
Our Website may link to external websites (for example, Google Maps directions to the studio). When you click on such links, the destination website may set its own cookies in your browser, in accordance with its own policies. We do not control third-party cookies set on other websites.
On the Website itself, we do not embed any third-party analytics scripts, social-media share buttons that pre-load, advertising tags, or video players that set cookies before interaction.
4. Your choices
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, there are no non-essential cookies to opt out of on our Website. You may still:
- Disable or delete cookies in your browser. Every major browser lets you do this; consult your browser's help pages for instructions. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Website from working correctly — for example, you may not be able to stay logged in.
- Withdraw your cookie consent at any time via the cookie consent banner (a "Cookie preferences" link is available in the Website footer).
- Use your browser's private/incognito mode for a stateless session.
5. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or changes in our operations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document indicates when it was last revised.
6. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at pilates@tropical.bg.
7. Authoritative language
This Cookie Policy is published in both Bulgarian and English. In the event of any inconsistency between the two versions, the Bulgarian version governs.
